The actor Chunky Pandey recently talked about his long friendship with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, stating that the two had been friends since 1986. The pair first worked together on movies such as Housefull and De Danan Dan. They met at Madhumati Academy of Film Dancing & Acting, where senior pupils frequently gave juniors mentoring.

"We were in Madhumati class in 1986, which is when I first got to know him," Chunky said in an interview with Lehren. "Before teachers, senior students used to train juniors, and so I taught Akshay Kumar many things," he continued, remembering those early days.
